A timeless wisdom text from India, this sacred scripture is a dialogue between Prince Arjuna and Lord Krishna on the battlefield. It offers profound guidance on life's biggest questions: duty (dharma), action (karma), and devotion (bhakti).

Key teachings include:

  • Perform your duty without attachment to results.

  • Understand the eternal nature of the soul.

  • Find peace through self-control, mindfulness, and selfless action.

The Gita is a source of inspiration for living a meaningful and purposeful life. 🙏

Sumadhwa Vijaya Chanting
Sumadhwa Vijaya Chanting
The Sumadhva Vijaya is a Sanskrit work and is composed of 16 sargas or cantos. It starts with a description of the first two avatars of Vayu, namely Hanuman and Bhima. It then proceeds to describe the life of Madhvacharya, described to be the third avatar. The Sumadhva Vijaya contains detailed descriptions of various incidents of Madhva's life and is the only authentic source of information about Madhvacharya that exists. The work contains many personal and intimate details of Madhvacharya's daily routine.

Through this challenge we will be learning to chant Sumadhwa Vijaya with the goal of reciting during upcoming Madhwa Navami celebrations. We will further continue to learn all 16 sagas.

The sessions will not be recorded, so please plan on attending each session that way you can learn to recite with proper pronunciation.

Looking forward to learning together.
