Sri Raghavendra Swamy
Sri Raghavendra Swamy, also known as Raghavendra Tirtha, was a prominent saint, scholar, and philosopher in the Dvaita Vedanta tradition of Hinduism.
Born around 1595 in Bhuvanagiri, Tamil Nadu, he is revered for his profound contributions to spiritual teachings and his miraculous abilities.
SRS Matha, Mantralaya
Mantralaya is a renowned pilgrimage site located in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. This village is particularly famous for being the Brudhavana (final resting place) of Raghavendra Tirtha, a revered saint from the 17th century.
Raghavendra Tirtha is known for his deep spiritual teachings and is believed to have chosen to be enshrined alive in a meditative state, which attracts thousands of devotees annually to his matha (monastery) and surrounding temples
