Utthana Dwadasi marks the awakening of Lord Vishnu from His cosmic sleep (Yoga Nidra) that began on Shayani Ekadasi. This auspicious day signifies the end of Chaturmasa, the four holy months, and the resumption of all auspicious activities.
Tulasi Vivaha is the sacred ceremonial marriage of the Holy Basil plant (Tulasi) with Lord Vishnu, symbolizing the divine union. This is celebrated on the 12th day of the Karthika Masa. This ritual is performed with great devotion and marks an important occasion in the Vaishnava tradition.
