What is the dress code for the evening?

To maintain the sanctity of the puja, traditional Indian attire is highly encouraged (e.g., dhotis or kurtas for men; sarees or salwar suits for women).

Can we bring any offerings for Rayaru?

Your presence and devotion are the greatest offerings. If you would like to bring something simple, Rayaru is fondly pleased with Tulsi leaves, fresh flowers, or fruits.

I might be running late, can I join midway?

Absolutely. Please feel free to join us whenever you can make it. The Stotra chanting and Bhajans begin at 6:30 PM, followed by the Aarati at 7:20 PM.

Will dinner be served?

Yes, traditional Maha Prasada (sattvic vegetarian palahara) will be served immediately following the Mangala Aarati and blessings at 7:30 PM.

The Evening’s Timeline


6:30 - Sankalpa & Puja Commencement

Setting the divine intentions for the evening and beginning the main rituals.

6:40 - Bhajans & Stotra Parayana

Collective chanting of Sri Raghavendra Stotra and devotional singing.

7:20 - Mangala Aarati & Teertha Prasada

The concluding offering, wave of the lamp, and distribution of sacred blessings.

7:30 - Maha Prasada

Traditional, sattvic vegetarian dinner served to all guests.
